Twitter Puts Ads In Tweets

Twitter Inc. began mixing ads into its vast stream of short messages on Tuesday, a move that one analyst likened to a kid who has finally grown up and found a job. 

But whether the San Francisco microblogging service can actually generate enough income from its new "promoted tweets" platform to support itself in the long run remains to be seen.

"This announcement doesn't mean they've figured it all out; it means they have another source of revenue," said Augie Ray, senior analyst for Forrester Research Inc. SFGate - read more.......

The Meaning of Good Friday

Good Friday is the day that Jesus Christ was crucified before He rose again on Resurrection Day or Easter Day, which is this Sunday. Sometimes Good Friday is also called Black Friday, Holy Friday or even Great Friday. The Christian Holiday coincides with the Jewish Holiday known as Passover.
